The gimbals are mechanical devices used as a payload support platform or housing, with aiming, stabilisation and data transmission functions. Under remote control, they direct the field of view to the area of interest. Anti-vibration and stabilisation devices eliminate most of the vibrations, and compensate for the carrier's movements.
SURVEY Copter can be incorporated on any vehicle (car, helicopter, aeroplane, balloon, micro-light, boat, etc.), on MNI-UAVS (helicopter, plane, etc.) or on fixed installations. SURVEY Copter develops and produces four gimbals designs :- Gyro-stabilised ball type gimbals
- Mobile gimbals for payload
