On board systems
ON-BOARD SYSTEMS COMPRISING AUTO-PILOTS FOR VERY HIGH-PERFORMANCE & COMPACT VTOL UAVS, FIXED-WING UAVS, BLIMP UAVS AND INERTIAL UNITS, ON-BOARD DATA LINKS AND TRANSMISSION RELAYS, SIGHT FEEDBACK SURVEY Copter and weControl produce and market the following different on-board system components: auto-pilots, inertial units, GPS, data links.
SURVEY Copter and weControl produce and market high-performance auto-pilots. The current range covers VTOL UAVs with the wePilot1000 model, and also the wePilot4RMAX, specialised for YAMAHA's RMAX UAV ; aeroplane type fixed-wing UAVS with the wePilot2000 model and finally the UAVS BLIMP. SURVEY Copter and weControl perform the initial incorporation of the auto-pilots in their customers' airborne vehicles.
SURVEY Copter produces inertial plants that are built into the auto-pilots or equipment, such as certain gimbals.
SURVEY Copter designs and produces airborne transmission relays on full-size aircraft. It designed and produced a shooting video assistance system mounted on the Gazelle.
A UAV system comprises an airborne vehicle and a ground station The airborne vehicle comprises a motorised cell, incorporating : The automatic navigation is entirely based on waypoints identified by their coordinates in 3D space. The payload (visible, infrared camera, etc.) is built into a gyro-stabilised gimbal reducing the carrier's movements and enabling the operator to aim at the target or scene of interest. The ground station comprises : The ground station is attached to a tracking turret providing the data link with the UAV in flight, and optimising the link quality by automatically aiming in the direction of the system in flight. |
